We accept makers of all levels, with all types of sewing goals! Projects and instructions are tailored to what a user is interested in learning/making. However, a user coming in with no experience will typically follow this progression:
Beginner Projects
- Learn how to thread and use a sewing machine to sew a basic seam
- Complete a beginner project: make a scrunchie or pencil pouch
- Learn how to cut fabric using a rotary cutter
- Optionally learn how to sew a zipper
- Optionally learn how to use the serger
